THE NEW BIRTH IS THE ONLY WAY
TO GET INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD
In St. John 3:3-5 a great ruler by the name of Nicodemus wanted the answer to this
question - how to get into the Kingdom of God. Jesus told him that he must be born
again to enter the Kingdom of God. In II Cor. 5:17 Paul said that all that received
the experience of the new birth would become new creatures, old things would pass away and
all things would become new. Jesus also told the above named ruler that he could not see the Kingdom of God unless he was born again.
In simple words he could not understand what was what unless he had received a
change of heart, but when this change came he would then be able to understand the mystery of the Kingdom of God. To have a
kingdom there must be a territory, there must be subjects, so it is very clear that
the Kingdom of God is here upon earth now and all the people that have been born again
are members of this Kingdom. In Matt. 13:38 Jesus said that all the good seed were the
children of the Kingdom but that all the bad were children of Satan. Jesus made it plain
in the above verse that the field was the whole world, and that there were two kingdoms
here upon the earth. The sinners and the born-again believers which were members of
God's Kingdom. He also made it plain in this 13th chapter of Matt. that the Kingdom of
God would grow until it was the largest Kingdom.

In Dan. 2:31-44 the prophet says that the stone or Kingdom will destroy all other
kingdoms, and that there will be no other kingdom left upon the earth except the
Kingdom of God. Nothing will be able to stand before the Kingdom of God or the stone
cut out without hands. So many people get confused with the
verse quoted in Luke 17:20 where Jesus said the Kingdom of God is within you. What he
meant was that those who had accepted Him were among the people there and the people
had failed to observe who He and his followers were. Within also means among. What Jesus
was really trying to get over was that the Kingdom was already there among them and they
had failed to see it. Because they were not born again. In Col. 1:13 Paul said that he had been
delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the Kingdom of God. Paul
was in this present life when he wrote this. What he was saying was that when he found
Christ on that road that day, he was translated into the Kingdom of Christ through
the new birth. He entered the Kingdom of God that very day. So all today that have
received the new birth have witnessed this translation Paul spoke of.
In Matt. 13 Jesus said that those without could not understand the Kingdom of God, why
they had not been born again, that which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is
born of the spirit, is of the spirit and is like the wind blowing. No one sees the wind
but they sure feel the power of it, so it is

with those that have entered into the Kingdom of God. They have power to understand things
that those without do not. There is a difference between the
"Kingdom of God", and "The Church of God." There are so many even among us that do not
see the difference, but we must remember Paul preached 17 years before he came into
the Church of God. You can read this in the 1st and 2nd chapter of Galatians. He
tells of all this and how he was received into the church of God. Jesus told Peter
in Matt. 16:18 and in Matt. 18:18 that he was giving him the keys to the Kingdom of
God, and that after he got the keys he could have power to bind and power to
loosen. Not just a thing or two but whatsoever he bound would be bound in heaven.
It should be noted that Jesus spoke of the Kingdom 162 times in the 4 gospels.
He only spoke of the church twice but he made it plain that the church had the keys
to the kingdom. When you have the keys to anything you have control of the thing.
It is the Kingdom of God, the stone cut out without hands that will fill the earth
and tear down all other Kingdoms, the kingdom will be ruled by the church.
WHAT IS A BIRTH?
Now lets get back to the thought of what is a birth, and its meaning. A birth is the coming into being of a new

life which has the nature of its parents. When you were born the first time, you were
made a partaker of the old nature we all received from Adam. When you repent and
confess your sins, and are born again of the spirit you take on a new nature. The divine
nature. 2 Peter 1: 1 Is this true of you? Have you the nature of the old man or of the,
divine nature? Are you in the Kingdom of God or not? No matter what church you grew up in or
are a member of, you cannot enter the Kingdom of God without being born of the spirit. St.
John 3:3-5 says, He came unto his Own but his own received him not. But to all that
have received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God. Rom. 14:17 - the
Kingdom is made of peace and love. Rom. 8:11 says as many as are led by the spirit are
the sons of God. Right here now upon this present life and now here on this earth, not
after death, but right now if we are led by the Holy Ghost we are now the sons of God.
We are living in the Kingdom of God right now if this applies to us as individuals.
For Jesus promised that we would gain 100 fold here now in the Kingdom of God, right
here on earth now in this present life, plus life in the next world after death.
There are only three things to do to be able to receive the 100 fold in this present
life. No.1 - we must be born again, No.2 forsake all and take up the cross and follow
him, No.3 - we must be led by the spirit of God.

So all that will accept Christ as their Savior and repent and turn to him, will be
members of the Kingdom of God right here now on earth. According to the promise of the
Bible there will be some whole nations enter into the Kingdom of God right here now on
earth. The Prophet Zechariah saw whole cities and whole nations entering into the
Kingdom. Also Isaiah spoke of it in Isa. 2:1-4, Micah 4th chapter. Daniel 7:18-27
calls for it and in the 21st chapter of Revelation the beloved John saw some nations
that were saved. All nations that will seek Him now can find Him just as we that are
already in his Kingdom did. A nation can be born again just as an individual can.
Jesus spoke of it in st. John 6:45. Paul spoke of it many times. The Bible calls
for it from beginning to end, for a day to come when the nations will pray and seek God.
So as Bro. A. J. Tomlinson said, the Bible calls for it therefore the Church of
God has no choice but to work to the end to get all nations into the Kingdom. As
of June 1986 I hope to have been in 50 nations.
THE PROPHET ISAIAH SAW THE COVERING OVER - ALL NATIONS LIFTED (Isa. 25:7)
Isaiah saw the covering that had been spread over all nations being lifted, so
the hour of , revival and time of new birth

in meal, as leaven would season or save meal, the Kingdom of God would save the whole world
in due time. Let the Church of God callout to the nations, and leaders of all nations to
repent and enter into the Kingdom of God. It is time to call the nations as well as just a
few people. For Christ died for the nations, as well as individuals. As Jesus came into
Galilee, saying the time is at hand, repent and believe the gospel and enter into the Kingdom,
let us now say to the nations, it is time for you to repent as nations and enter into the
Kingdom, for if you do not you shall perish. So it is time for the Church of God to
say to all nations and to all of the leaders of all nations that they must repent, be born
again as nations, so they can enter into the Kingdom of God. Isaiah saw a day in the 19th
chapter, a time when even the whole nation of Egypt would build an alter right in the middle
of the nation and call upon the same God you and I do. He even saw the time when Egypt,
Assyria and Israel, will all be in one league and all three nations will be worshipping the
same God together. Yes, it is time for a revival among all nations and their leaders.
Once all nations repent and witness the new birth, then Jesus prayer that he taught us
to pray will be answered. We will have the Kingdom of God in earth as in Heaven. Be
sure it will come sooner or later. The nations will enter the same way you and I
did through the new birth. The end of all things is at hand, so, now kings, queens,
rulers, rich, poor, all must now repent and

be born again so they can get into the Kingdom of God, or they will utterly waste away.
1sa.60:12. So I feel it of God to Say, to all public officials, and all governments "Choose" you
this day whom ye will serve. Joshua 24:15. Psa. 37:22,34. 1sa. 1:26,27,28. Prov.29:2.
Ecc. 12:14. Psa 149:6,7,8,9. Provo 29:1. Also I Cor. 6:2,3. Please read the entire
37th Psalms, for Jesus taught the same things. All nations have reached the day of Hebrews 4:7.

THE EARTH IS ETERNAL (Ecc. 1:4)
I first wrote this about 15 years ago and it was printed in the Church of God
paper, Nov. 15, 1964. Bishop Homer Tomlinson asked me to look up this in the Bible and
write it for the church paper. "ONE GENERATION PASSETH AWAY, AND
ANOTHER GENERATION COMETH BUT THE EARTH ABIDETH FOREVER." Ecc. 1:4. Here Solomon
makes it plain that man comes and goes, but the earth itself never ceases.
In Psa. 119:90 the writer says that the Lord's faithfulness is to all generations,
and that God has established the earth, and it abideth. In Psa. 104:5 the foundation
of the earth was laid by the Lord Himself that it should not be removed forever. When
God created the earth and made it, He made it to stand forever.
2 Peter 3:12-13 says that Peter spoke of the heavens being on fire, and the earth
and the works in it being burned up. In the very next verses he says that we will be
looking for a new heaven and new earth wherein righteousness dwelleth. This fire Peter is
talking about is none other than the Holy Ghost power that will burn up sin as the
entire gospel of the kingdom is preached in all the world. The elements could be and
are the things that are in the world. being

cleansed by the preaching of the word of God with power in this day of the Lord.
In the 11th verse of 2 Peter (same chapter), it says that while the elements or
worldly things are melting and being burned, that we should have a "holy" conversation at
that very time. So this clearly indicates that the people of God will be right here
in this natural body while this fire is doing away with sin and the wicked. So it
can not be a natural fire that Peter was speaking of, but the Holy Ghost fire working
in the church, that will do away with all sin in due time in this day of the Lord. He makes
it very plain that the ones that are looking for the new heaven and new earth will be
right here at this very time the other is taking place. 2 Peter 3:10-13.
Malachi speaks of the wicked being burned up and becoming ashes under the feet
of God's people. This will happen in the day that the saints grow up as stall-fed
calves. For the Sun of righteousness shall arise with healing in his wings, for those
who fear the Lord. Mal. 4:2-3. Here again the righteous are right here upon the earth
in this present form, while the wicked are being burned up. So this must be the power
of God that is the fire Peter and Malachi are talking about. It has to be the Holy
Ghost power that the prophets are speaking of when they say the earth and its works
shall be burned up, meaning the wickedness or sin will be removed, but that the earth
itself and the righteous shall still be here.

Proverbs states that the upright shall remain in the land, but the wicked shall be
cut off from the earth and rooted out of it. Prov.2:21-22.
Even when the flood came, the earth was not destroyed, but was seen standing out of
the water when the water was dried up. It was only the wicked that were destroyed.
Here are some scriptures that I would like to give support that the earth itself must
never be removed by any means. I Chron. 16:30; Prov. 10:30; Psa. 93:1; Psa. 96:10. Please
read carefully all the 37th chapter of Psalms. In this 37th Psalm you will find that we will
see the wicked taken out with our own eyes and then we will take over the earth in this
present life. Jesus taught the same thing in all four gospels, saying the wicked or
tares would be taken out first. Then right here before the second coming of the Lord
we would shine in the kindgom. Also read Heb. 12:25-28. In I Chron. 7:14 Solomon says, that
God will heal the land not destroy it, and this healing of the land will come at the
asking of it by the people of God, those called by His name. Everywhere you read
in the entire Bible, you will always find God taking out the wicked and giving the
earth to the righteous. Read Isa. 1:28; 2 Thess. 2:8-10. This makes it plain that
not at the second coming of Jesus the wicked will be destroyed, but at the brightness.

CHAPTER 3
CHURCH WORLO TAKE HEED UNTO THE DOCTRINE (I Timothy 4:16)
On the night of December 24, 1984, God spoke these words to me very plain - it
woke me out of sleep. The last clause of I Tim. 1:3: "Charge some they teach no
other doctrine." Then one year later on the night of December 24, 1985, exactly one year 19ter,
He did the same thing. So this makes me to know what Paul told Timothy to teach;
God wants the same thing taught now. Let us look at both books of Timothy,
chapter by chapter, and see if you are teaching and living by what he told Timothy
he must do. In chapter 1 - verse 9, 10, he makes it plain who the natural laws are for
and who they are not for. In chapter 2 he tells who our first prayer daily should be
for. Then in the same chapter verses 11, 12, he says, that women should not rule
over men or teach men, but that the older women should teach the younger women to
obey their husbands and that this is to be done so the Word of God will not be blas-
phemed. Titus 1:4, 5. Do please read this very carefully. Also that the women should
dress; very modest and not wear gold and so forth, I Tim. 2:9.

In the 3rd chapter of I Timothy he outlines who can rule and be overseers, and
Bishops and Deacons and who can not. Do please read and study this chapter very
carefully for in verse 4 and 5 he gives some very important advice, if a man can
not rule his own house he cannot take care or lead the Church of God or any church.
Also the deacon wife must know her place, again I beg all to check this 3rd chapter
of I Timothy and see if your pastor or the leader of your church organization meets
this required of him. If not, you had better change churches and organizations.
Mat. 4:4. In chapter 4 he warns against those who try to stop people from marrying. This
often breaks out in churches. If the people do not want a certain woman to marry a
certain man, they will start having dreams and so forth. I have seen this get among
older women pastors often. So this must be watched very carefully. Also he warns
about those who do not want to eat meat, making it very plain it is alright to eat
any meat that is sold in the market. Do read verse 16 about this.
In chapter 5, who is a real Bible widow and who is not. He says she must
have been the wife of only one man, must have washed the feet of the saints, lodged
strangers and been faithful in all things. So when you go the Bible way there are very
few widows, very few indeed. She also must be beyond 60 years old. He also speaks

very strong on those who do not support their own household. I Tim. 5:8. In
this chapter he also speaks of how to respect the pastor. The danger of wanting
to become rich; there is a lot of this doctrine of getting rich and having million
dollar church building being preached. But if you will study the 6th chapter of
I Timothy you see the danger of this. Do please take time to read out loud this 6th
chapter. Do not let someone swallow you up in this message of being rich, means
you are right with God; too many are preaching that. NOW INTO THE BOOK OF II TIMOTHY
In chapter one he puts it out plain about the ministry being in the work full
time and not being involved in other things. Lots of pastors these days have a farm or
are in the business world doing everything they can for a dollar. Also do study the
2nd chapter very carefully; he told Timothy what kind of men to teach so they could
teach others, also to spend time in studying the Bible, and that some could not be
helped unless they themselves wanted to help themselves. This is in II Tim. 2:24,
25,26. Be sure to look this up. This 3rd chapter is so misused by the
ministry. Almost all preachers refuse to read verse 9: The wicked and bad times

will go no further. The world does not get worse but the wicked get worse, not the
entire world. The time comes when the wicked are stopped here on earth. Do read
Ecc. 12: 14; Isa. 1:28; Psa. 37th whole chapter; Rev. 22 :11 also Matt. 13:30.
Jesus said the tares or wicked would be taken out first, not the Church but wicked
out first. Jesus also said not to follow anyone who said he was coming soon. There
is entirely too much of that being preached. Too many messages being given saying he's
coming soon. They are not real. Do read Luke 21:8; we are told not to follow those
who say the time is short or drawing near. Do not follow them. (Luke 21:8).
In the 4th chapter of the 2nd book of Timothy he speaks of preaching the Word
and staying with the doctrine. Now here is some very important things
that should be read and should be preached regularly: Gen. 4:16; Eph. 5:22, 23, 24;
Col. 3:18; and Titus 2:5. They are very important concerning the ministry, the
church, the home, the nation, and the world.

CHAPTER 4
TIME TO WRITE THE VISION, IT WILL NOW SPEAK (Hab. 2:3, 4)
In I Peter 1:5 he saw by the Holy Ghost, a people of great faith who had been kept for
a certain time to be made known to the world. When anything has to be revealed it has been
hid up to that time. Here he says that this group of people now stand ready to be made
known in the last time. It is very plain that this group of real people of God have been hid to the world for
some reason, but they had a vision and true faith and so God, Himself has kept them until
the time comes that He will make them known to all the world. Do consider this!
Now in the 2nd chapter of Joel, this writer also saw a certain people that had a
vision and outlook here upon earth that no other people had. They could see nothing
but good in this life: Joel 2:3. Do please study this entire chapter. These people were
filled with the very fire of God. The whole earth was as the Garden of Eden. They could
see peace on earth, the very Kingdom of God on earth, right here in this life. They were
in a spirit and power no other people had ever been in, or would be for many generations
to come. So it is very plain that these people lived for a long period of" time before Jesus

comes the second time. They could see the healing of the nations, Russia, army
stopped the years of all bad things given back in this life, and all people eating
plenty, and the wicked being taken out of government. If you will study the 2nd
chapter of Joel, verse 1-27, you will see that they must be the people Peter saw
by the Holy Ghost in 1:5. Also Isa. 32:17; Micah 4th chapter; Rom. 9:28; John 6:45;
Rev. 22:2; Isa. 2:2-4; Zech. 2.:10, 11; Zech. 8:23, 24; Dan. 7:18; Do please con-
sider this army of God with a vision of seeing the Garden of Eden restored here on
earth in this life, not after Jesus comes. Too many want to put too much off until
after death and Jesus comes. This is a blind vision. Read Mark 10:29,30. You
see that all you ever get out the Kingdom of God will be in this present life, then
if you come to the 100 fold blessing in this life, you will get life eternal in
the world to come, which will not come until the second coming of Jesus. Please read it
for yourself. Mark 10:29,30. Also Rom. 5:17; I Cor. 6:2,3. We come to the head
of all governments right here on earth in this life. Yes, there is a people that
can see the coming of the Kingdom of God in earth as in heaven, the Garden of Eden.
Joel 2:1 through 27, do get hold of verses 2 and 3, please.
When we study the second chapter of Daniel, we find that he told the king

that the stone would knock down the image and destroy the image in this present life.
And the stone would be the only kingdom right here upon earth. There would be no
place for the image or any anti-powers and that the stone would become a mountain,
which means a power force for good. Every time someone is born of the spirit of God the
stone gets one member larger, and the image one member smaller. So with the stone or
Kingdom of God growing daily, and the image getting smaller, it is easy to see the stone
or people of God will become the larger kingdom in due time. So the vision will
speak. If it seems to tarry wait for it for it will speak and not lie.
As Paul told Timothy, in 1:7: Consider what I say, and the Lord will give you
the proper and correct understanding. I beg all to join this army that seed only
good; the whole earth as the Garden of Eden. It is real for those who will be led
by the Holy Ghost. Rom. 1:4-17 tells us what the Kingdom of God is and do read the
14th verse. We must remember Jesus taught us to pray for the Kingdom to come right
here on earth, now, not after death. Get out of the after death doctrine, please.
See some hope in the vision. Read Psa. 46:9 last clause, Psa. 37: 34;
Matt. 5:5; Rom. 16:20; and do take hold of II Cor. 10:.4,5,6; Rom. 9:28; and Rom. 5: 17.
I Cor. 6:2,3; Zech. 2:10, 11; Zech. 8:22, 23; John 6:45; Amos 9:11, yes God people will
soon take over in this life.

CHAPTER 5
LET US LOOK INTO PROPHECY: II Peter 1 :19- 21
Peter says, no prophecy is of any private interpretation but that it comes
in old time by the Holy Ghost, and not by man, for they only spoke as they were
moved upon by the Holy Ghost; So we need to forget what some man taught at Bible
school and let the Holy Ghost speak to us. I John 2:27, Jesus also said when
the Holy Ghost is come He lead us in to all truth. Let me say here that I am
not against church government, the Bible calls for it, but we have let too many
who have taught from their little church doctrine lead us into the doom, and no
hope because they could see nothing in prophecy that had passed but have tried
to put all into the future. In Revelations 1 :19, John was told
to write the things that he had seen, as well as the things that are now taking
place and the things that would take place in the future. Now some of the things he wrote about
had taken place thousands of years before he wrote the book. For example the dragon,
or devil had been cast out of heaven before the garden of Eden, for he was here upon
earth when Adam and Eve met him in the

garden; so that war in heaven took place a long time before that. Also that about the
fowls eating the flesh of people happened in Psalms 79:1,2,3; (look it up please),
too many are preaching the book of Revelations further when much of it is thousands
of years behind us. Now concerning the antichrist which so many say is just around the corner, he
was here before all the books of John were written and before the book of Revelations
was written. Let us go to I John 2t18. John said you have been hearing that he
would come, but he now already is here, so we are in the last time now John said. In
I John 4:3 he said the same thing, but in verse 4 John said the church had already
overcome the antichrist; so if the children of God had overcome the antichrist at the
time John was writing the book of 1st John, please tell my why some of you are still
saying it is still to come. You have denied the Word of God, or you would not be preaching
it is still to come. Now let us go to verse 5, they that say it is still to come
are of the world, John said. So if they were of the world in that day who said it was
still to come, how much more are you that are preaching it just around the corner of
today are of the world? John said in verse 6 the ones who would listen and believe it
was still to come were of the world. He also said that anyone that was of God would
believe him and he said it had already come and the real children of God had already
overcome the antichrist. He mad~ it plain if they were looking for it in the future

they were not of God, and anyone that would listen at that kind of preacher
was of the world. Let us look into the Word and Accept it while we can.
There is nothing in the book of Revelations that uses the word anti-
christ. It is only in the Bible three or four times and only in the book of
John. And it had been overcome in that day so it would be impossible for it to
come again in our day. The Bible only calls for it one time.
In II Thessalonians, end of the second chapter, Paul uses the word
inequity for the antichrist. He says the voice of the Lord will consume this
inequity or antichrist, and that it will be destroyed not with the second coming
of Jesus, but with the brightness of his coming. There is a big difference in
the second coming and the brightness of his coming, so it is very plain that
what the church preaches does away with all false and the true light takes over
here on earth for a period of time before Jesus comes again. II Tim. 2:7.
When we read in Daniel 7:23, he told the people of that day the 4th
world kingdom would be the 4th Beast. We know the Beast started out with
Nebuchadnezzar, for he was the head of gold in the 2nd chapter of Daniel and
the 4th world kingdom was Rome. So the Beast was in power at the birth of Christ,
and in Rev. 17, the 7 and 8 kings were

the same as the Beast, and it was the 8th Roman king that gave out the mark in A.D. 81.
As I said before I have all this on an hour and half tape free to all who ask for it.
If you just accept Rev. 1:19 you can see it is past, far behind us. Read very
carefully Rev. 1st chapter, everywhere you read it says shortly or now, not 2,000
years later like some of you are preaching. Now let us go to Haggai 2:6,7. After
God himself shakes all of the nations, then the desire of all nations comes. What is
the desire of all nations - a better government, better standard of living and~?
So after all nations are shaken then the next thing is peace right here now. Not
after Jesus comes. All will agree that the nations are being shaken. So the same verse
says the next thing is the desire of all nations to come, which is peace and it is
very at hand. Isa. 2:1-4 and Micah in the last days, not after Jesus comes the last
days Micah 4th, Psa. 46:9, Mark 13:7. Jesus said in Mark 13:7, the end could not come
as long as there is even talk of war. Yes, there will be peace here upon earth and the
people of God will rule in this life for a period of time before Jesus comes. I Cor.
6:2-3; Rom. 5:17; John 6:4; Rom. 9:28; Rom. 16:20; Isa. 32:17; Dan. 7:26-27; Rev. 2:26-27;
Matt. 13:30; Psa. 37. Do consider the Word of God. II Tim. 2:7.

CHAPTER 6
THE WHOLE TRUTH CONCERNING THE KINGDOM OF GOD
In Matt. 13:38 we read about 2 kingdoms, here upon the earth, now. The good
seed the children of the Kingdom of God, and the tares the children of the wicked
one. So there is 2 kingdoms here and all people are members of one or the other of
these kingdoms. If you have been born of the spirit of God, which means you
have been born again, you are good seed and a member of the Kingdom of God.: If
you still have not been born again, you are still a tare and a member of the
wicked kingdom which is under the power of the devil. So those who say there
can be no Kingdom until Jesus comes are in the wrong teaching. Now it is very plain if you have
been born again and have become good seed, you have entered into the right
kingdom now every time someone is born of the spirit of God, the children of
the Kingdom of God get one member larger, and the tares lose one. So with the
Kingdom of God growing daily and the tares getting smaller daily, in due time
the Kingdom of God will be the larger kingdom, and the larger kingdom always rules.

very soon. I beg all to get out of that spirit of nothing until after death. Do
please study Mark 10:29,30; you see that you get all you ever get out of the Kingdom
of God here on earth in this life, and then life eternal in the world to come
not a kingdom but life eternal, lots of difference, the Kingdom of God is here now,
and will be until Jesus comes. Now let us go to II Thessalonians,
Chapter 4:13 through 17; here is where we go into life eternal, not into a kingdom;
please do study Mark 10:29, 30. There is 100 fold blessing right here on earth in
the Kingdom of God for some, then later into the eternal life. There is a price
to pay to receive this 100 blessing in the Kingdom of God, all are listed in Mark
10:29,30. There is no excuse for trying to put the Kingdom of God and its blessing
until after death (II Tim. 2:7). The 2nd of Isa. 2:2-4, and the 4th of
Micah are in the last days, not after Jesus comes; but in the last days. Too many are
misusing the Word of God, when it says last days it means last days, and not after Jesus
comes. Be careful how you handle the Word of God. I beg you all to read Luke 21:8. If
you will read Luke 21:8, you will find you are told not to follow anyone who is teaching
Jesus is coming soon. He said go not after them that say, the time draweth near, do not
go after or follow that man that says, the time draweth near. We better start listening to Jesus.

CHAPTER 7
DO NOT GO AFTER OR FOLLOW THESE WHO SAY JESUS IS COMING SOON:
PLEASE READ LUKE 21:8; MARK 13:7; LUKE 21:9
It is a very common saying today, and has been for around 100 years - Jesus is
coming soon. But those who say that have not studied the Word of God as they should
have or they would not be saying it. Also if this saying had been true we would have
already gone up to meet the Lord in the air. Let us get into the Word and not
man's teaching. Jesus said no man knows so if no man knows, and Jesus said He himself did not
know; that only God the Father knew and had kept this in His own hands, the way
all this messages and so forth I am coming soon. If Jesus does not know when
He is coming then how could He tell the Holy Ghost to tell the churches He was
coming soon? THE HOLY GHOST ONLY SAYS WHAT HE HEARS JESUS SAY SO WE BETTER
START TRYING SOME SPIRITS, (I John 4:1) or somebody is going to wind up in some-
thing he will be sorry for. My first trip to Haiti, in 1975 one of the government leaders came to me with
this statement - He said to me, Bishop, can you preach anything other than Jesus
is coming soon. I said you bet I can -

come and hear me. He said I hope so, for I have visited 6 different churches in
the last 6 Sundays, and that was each pastor's text - Jesus is coming soon.
They say it at every service and it has not happened, and they are driving the
people away from church with promising it all the time and it has not happened.
Here in the Ivory Coast, where I am on a missionary trip, the people had put
a sign on the car in French - Jesus is coming soon. So many of the people began
to stop them and walk up to the car and say to them: You have said Jesus is coming
soon. Now tell me when? The sign was only causing confusion. We need a little
"WISDOM PLEASE", or many of you are going to perish, AMEN: For without knowledge
people perish. ANYTHING ANY OF YOU DO THAT CAUSES CONFUSION
IS NOT OF GOD. FOR GOD IS NOT THE AUTHOR OF CONFUSION.
I am a Bishop in the oldest "Pentecostal" organization on earth, The Church
of God, set in order June 13, 1903 in Buger Mountain, N.C. By the late Bishop
A. J. Tomlinson. This is recorded in Washington, D.C. I came up under the
teaching of his oldest son, Bishop Homer Tomlinson, the only man to ever preach in
over 100 nations (he preached in 116). He could preach in 22 different languages.
He set me forth as a Bishop in.1956. He

told me this one time, he said brother Rogers, my father was preaching in a log
cabin on a Wednesday night in 1908, a sister spoke in tongues. I got up and
said Jesus is coming soon. My father looked at me very hard and just kept
preaching. He said the next week the same thing happened in another prayer
meeting, this time 2 women were the ones that did it, and it just kept happening
until many churches do it every service. He said I am now 75 years old and it has
not happened. He realized he missed the Lord that night and got into flesh. He
was sorry it happened. When he told me this he had tears in his eyes. He is
not the only one who ever missed God in giving interpretations. But let this
be a warning to all: Do not move every time you hear a voice. The devil speaks
to the best of the people of God. He talked to Jesus for a good while in
Matthew 4:3-10. So if he could talk to Jesus he can and does talk to you, so
start trying the Spirit for the world is full of false spirits and prophets.
Anything that does not match with the Word do not give it out or accept it.
Yes, Jesus will come at the right time, but not until the correct time. He
does not know and the angels in heaven do not know. So no preacher could know.
So when he says Jesus is coming soon, he has heard a voice that does not match
with the, Word of God. Please read Luke 21:8 and start going by it. He also

said in Mark 13:7, the end would not come as long as there was war or war talk, so
that makes it plain that there will be a period of peace for a good while before
He does come after the church. The wicked will be taken out before
Jesus comes again. Matt. 13:30; Psa. 37; Rev. 22:11; Psa. 46:9; Isa. 1:28. In the
last days, not after Jesus comes, they will stop war. Isa. 1:1-4; Micah 4, last day,
they stop war. Rom. 9:28; John 6:45. Again Jesus Himself said in Matt. 13:30, the tares,
or the wicked would be taken out first. You cannot change the Word. Gal. 1:7; Psa.
37:11,22,29,34; also Psa. 37:9; Jer. 23: 28-31; Gal. 1:7; Jer. 28:9.

CHAPTER 8
DEMOCRACY TO GIVE WAY TO THEOCRACY
In almost every case of any nation turning to Theocracy, it first had a form
of "Democracy", for a while. So America is ripe for a complete change. If you
will read the following portions from the several books of the Bible, you will see
that it is ordained of God, for the nations of this age to turn from whatever form of
Government they might have, to "A Theocratic form of Government", and this is
due in the age before the second coming of Christ back to earth. Isa. 1:27; 2nd Sam.
23:1-3; Psa. 149:7,8,9; I Cor. 6:2; Rom. 16:20; Rev. 1:5-6; Rev. 5:10; Provo 29:1;
Isa. 32:1; Dan. 7:18; 7:22, 26, 27th verses. Now let us consider these great and
powerful scriptures, and many others, where the Saints of God are in charge and
doing the judging. There is nothing plainer in the Bible, than that God has
ordained for people of God to take the lead in all public offices and governments,
bringing all things in subjection to the Government God, just before the return of Christ.
Brethren, we will never get the job done by endorsing political parties, who
do not know God. We must bring forth men of God for public office, to have
Theocratic Government. The present parties have separated Church and State so far,

which has been the cause of our present Government falling apart.
We have been preaching in our General Assemblies, for men of God, not only in the
Church of God, but all Churches, to offer themselves for public office and especially
if they feel led of God to work toward a better Government, for the people led by
men of God. I feel we must press this part for better government, just as we preach
people can be healed by the annointing of oil and praying for the sick. Just as we
make purposes in our Assemblies and pass them, and unless we do them, they really
do not count. I believe we are ready for the Apostle Paul's Scripture in 1st Cor. 6:2, when the
Saints of God will judge the world, and other things that pertain to this life.
We cannot cause our judgement and judging to be effective unless we are holding
public office where righteousness and good can lead the way for God Government -
"THEOCRATIC Government Under God for the people and by men of God".
In the 7th chapter of Daniel, we find that we, the saints move into the Government
and take them from the beast and people who have no fear of God. Any man
that is a christian can hold public office, if he will be led of God. The Holy Ghost
was given to us for 'the purpose of bringing judgement to the devil and sin of this
world. We should not feel we are not quali-

fied for this job, for it is a commission that God has ordained. 2nd Sam. 23:3;
Rev. 1:5-6; Rev. 5:10. We cannot fail if we move by the spirit of God. We have
been preaching for many years in the Church of God, the time would come, when
God would bring everything to Judgement, whether it be good or bad, and this
trouble we are having in our Government concerning the "Water Gate Scandle", is
fulfilling the Scripture in Acts 3:21. This is just the beginning, for all
wickedness is individuals or governments will be brought to judgement and corrected
or moved out. We need not be afraid about the things that are happening, or could
happen in the next few years, for God must get the attention of all nations
and people. In the 6th seal of Rev. we find God causing millions to call upon
the Lord. This happens before Jesus returns back to earth, Jesus does not
return at this time of Wrath and judgement, for we notice it's upon the heads
of the wicked and those that have turned away the Gospel.
In Amos 9:11 and Acts 15th, concerning the rebuilding of the Tabernacle of David,
and we must remember this Government under David, was a Theocratic form of Government.
Both Luke and Amos proclaim this Tabernacle will be raised up again, just
as it was in the days of old. Isa. 1st chapter.

The Union of Church and State must return and work hand and hand before Jesus
returns. We must remember when the Government of God was in operation under David
and Solomon, men of God were leading, and in almost every case in the old testament,
when a nation followed God, it's leaders were men of God. I believe it is ordained
of God, for Church and State in this day of Grace to be completely united, for we
can see the results of what has happened in our schools and governments, when God
is left out. The Bible ways very plain, the throne of David, will be given to Jesus. On the
other hand, God's people must make the preparation with all things ready for the return
of Jesus. Let the Ministry of the Church of God and all churches, come forth and put
their feet into the water, for we are well able and qualified to bring forth the Government
of God. And of course, we all know the Government of God will not fit upon the
heads of people who do not put God first in their lives.
Let none do as the ten spies did, starting with Moses and began to see giants,
always drawing back and saying, it would be good for the Government of God, but this
cannot come forth until Jesus returns. We can do all things through Christ and the
Holy Ghost has been speaking in our General Assemblies for many years, to press forward
for the Government of God and His Kingdom to come forth in all the earth. Let us go

up and claim our inheritance at once. Godbless all of you and seek until you can
take on a spirit like Caleb.

CHAPTER 9
UNITED STATES TO BE A HOLY NATION
"Shall a nation be born at once?" (Isa.66:8) Jesus told the Jews in Matt.
21:43 "Therefore I say unto you, the kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given
to a nation bringing forth fruits thereof." According to Isa. 18:4 God will take His
rest in a land "overshadowing with wings, a land peeled, terrible from their beginning,
a land divided by rivers, a land where an ensign would be lifted up on a mountain."
This describes the United States of America. America is the only nation which has
won all her ward from the beginning, the land whence came the airplane, and the
church of God "ensign" was lifted up on a mountain in North Carolina. A land where
state and county lines are marked by rivers and streams. And as I said before it is
the land where the church of God did lift up an ensign on June 13, 1943, whistling
to all nations to call upon the Lord come unto the kingdom of God through the new
birth. (Isa.5:26) This is the land where God will take His rest. America is
bringing forth the fruit of the kingdom of God, even the very message of the Kingdom
of God, itself arising in this land in the general assembly of the church of God at
Red Bay, Ala., in 1950. .

This gospel of the kingdom which must be preached in all the world for a witness,
according to Matt. 24:14, the Gospel of Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy
Ghost is rising from this America. Jesus said in Luke 13:20-21 that the kingdom of
God was liken leaven a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, and that this
leaven would leaven the whole lump. The preaching righteousness and peace will do
the same thing to America and all nations as the leaven did to the meal. The United
states of America is to be a Holy Nation. God chose her from the start of His church
and the outpouring of the Holy Ghost in this last day. Such is destined to bringforth a holy nation in due time.
GOVERNMENT
Micah 4:1 "But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of
the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall
be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow into it." It seems that
"mountains" in the Bible means government, and "seas" means a multitude of people.
According to Psa. 72:3 "The mountains (or governments) shall bring peace to the
people and little hills by righteousness." Therefore if mountain means government,
the government of the church will be the government of all nations in the

last days, because Micah said in the last days the mountain of the Lord's house would
be established in the top of the mountains, which means in every government on earth
before the return of Jesus. This means that every government of earth will have to accept
the government of the church for their law, in the last days - not after Jesus comes but
before. Dan. 2:31-44; Dan. 7:18 and Dan. 7:27 backs this up as well as I Cor. 6:2-3
I first wrote this 20 years ago and it appeared in the church of God paper and Bro.
Omer Moore had it printed in tract form. Now 20 years later America has a president that
says he has been born again. So we are making some headway in the plan of God.
In Micah 4:2 the prophet says plainly that the law shall go forth out of Zion. Zion is
the church of God. Also the same prophet says in the 8th verse that the kingdom would come
to the daughter of Jerusalem. In the first clause of this verse he said, "And thou, 0
tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come."
The word tower means Overseer. In the 9th verse he asked why they were
crying, "Is there no king in thee?" Isa. 52: 7-15, the prophet spoke of a prophet that
would come publishing peace, saying to Zion, "Thy God reigneth" and that they would see
eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring again Zion. Verse 13 - "Behold (which means to
look) my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled and be very high."

Verse 14 - "As many were astonished at thee: his visage was so marred more
than any man, and his form more than the sons of men"; but in the 15th verse
Isaiah tells us that this prophet or man would sprinkle many nations with the
gospel of peace, also that the kings or rulers would shut their mouths at this
man! For this man would tell them some- thing they had never heard, and they will
consider it. Please consider what Jesus taught us to pray every day, and it was this - that
the will of God be done in earth as in heaven. Everything in heaven is saved, there is no sickness there, no sin. So
Jesus died for the nations to be saved. Read Psa. 37 very carefully. Also Psa. 22:27; 2 Pet. 3:9; Psa. 2:8 and Heb. 8:
11-13 says all shall know the Lord. 1sa. 54:13 says in that day all thy
children shall be tauQht of the Lord, and great shall be the peace of thy children.
This shows that there will be a whole generation that will be taught of the Lord and will serve the Lord.
Read with care 2 Sam. 23:1-3 God says through the Holy Ghost as David was getting
ready to depart this life that he that rules over men should be just, so that
shows that it is God's will for the righteous to rule in this life. Read also with care Isa. 55:5; Rom.
10:19, But I say, Did not Israel know?

First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish
nation I will anger you. Here Paul was quoting from Deut. 32:21. So God knew that this America
would be formed some day and that He would use it to bring the Jews or Israel back to Him.
America was no nation and no people at the time the Bible was being written. You know this to
be true. Once America becomes "Born Again", as a nation, and she will, and we have the govern-
ment that King Solomon had and the Jews see it, they will then become angered and provoked to
turn and come to Christ. Once this happens, then the nations of the world one by one will
repent and enter into the kingdom of God. Zech. 2:10-11; Zech. 8:21, 23.
Remember what Jesus said in Matt. 21:43, the kingdom shall be taken from you Jews and
given to some Gentile nation that would bring forth the fruit to get the kingdom of God.
America is that nation. Isaiah knew it when he wrote the 18th chapter of his book. Moses
knew it in Deut. 32:21; Paul knew that Isaiah and Moses knew it and he quoted from both in
the 10th chapter of Romans. God gave me a vision of this in Sept. of 1951 in South Boston, VA in a little store\
building where Sis. C. B. Sullivan was pastoring and was unable to come that Sunday
afternoon and the state overseer asked me to preach. The vision was revealed to me while
in the service, then I began to look in the Bible and found it to be so. Just look to
the Lord and He will let you see it. Read Psa. 2:8; Psa. 22:27; Acts 3:21; Heb. 8:11-13
Isa. 54:13 and 2 Sam. 23:1-3.

CHAPTER 10
THE 17 CLASSES OF PEOPLE THAT SHALT NOT INHERIT THE KINGOM OF GOD
In the 5th chapter of the book of Galatians, we read of the works of the
flesh, starting at verse 19. Before I go into this article I want to ask all
to look up verse in the Bible for yourselves that I put into this article.
Number 1 - Adultery, which is the violation of the marriage vow, to be
unchastity, in thought or action. Matt. 19:6, 8:9; Mark 10:11, 12; Rom. 7:2, 3.
Number 2 - Fornication, which is the elicit sex act of unmarried people,
do re-read the above verses on this and you find that single people cannot under
any conditions marry a person that has a living husband or wife. Matt. 19:9.
One reason "fornication", Matt. 13:9; Matt. 19:9; the man is given a right if
his wife is proven to have had sex with another man after they are married.
Number 3 - Uncleanness, which is to be impure or unclean in thought or body,
or spirit, II Cor. 6:16, 17; II Cor. 7:1. Number 4 - Lasciviousness, which is
to be lustful, or wanton, desiring, etc. I John 2:15, 16; and Jesus said whosoever
looketh on a woman to lust after her in his heart hath, meaning already committed
"adultery", with her in his heart.

Number 5 - Idolatry, which means paying of "Divine", honor to any thing or image, or
anything that comes between one and God. Ex. 20:3. Paul also taught that if you covet, you
are committing" idolatry". Number 6 - Witchcraft, practice of witches,
to cast spells and so forth by the power of the devil. Gal. 5:20. I Sam. 15:22, 23.
Number 7 - Hatred, to continue to be hostile in feeling or angry at someone else.
I John 4:20, and I John 3:15. Number 8 - Variance, to differ or quarrel,
and argue with. Matt. 5:25. Phil. 2:3, I Cor. 1: 10. Number 9 - Emulations, ambition to excel
over another, which would be to out do or out show in the church world. Rom. 12:10, Phil.
2:3; I Cor. 1:10. We are taught to be of the same mind not to argue or try to out do
but to prefer one another. Number 10 - Wrath, violent, anger; about
something or with someone. Eph. 4; James 1:20; Mark 10:1-12.
Number 11 - Strife, to stir up against some one or sow discord that will cause con-
flict, and quarrels, and trouble. Read Provo 6:19; James 5:9. Number 12 - Seditions, to stir up oppo-
sitions against some one or a group of people. James 4:11; James 5:9; Provo 6:19.

Number 13 - Heresies, to preach an untruth or any thing you cannot prove
by the Bible. Paul had lots to say about this in the following. Gal. 1:6-9. Do
read the first chapter of Galatians about this. Number 14 - Envying, to grudge the
ability of someone else, become "jealous", of them in any way. To not wish well in
their labor, or undertakings. This often happens right in the church world among
preachers, because someone is a better speaker or deeper in the vision, or has
more ability. They sometimes will go from church to church doing everything
they can to hinder the one they are jealous of. Do anything to block them
from getting to preach the gospel. God hates this: Please read the Bible on
this. Songs of Solomon 8:6; Prov. 14:30; Prov. 27:4; James 3:14, 15, 16. The
great preacher Paul said take heed how you bite and devour one another least you
be consumed one of another. The wise man Solomon, had this to say that to be
jealous, was as cruel as the grave. He went on to say it was the coals of are
the coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flames. Of all the works of
the flesh none will do more harm to the church than this one.
Number 15 - Murder, to kill or take the life of another in any way or to kill
the influence of another. Ex. 20:13, I John 3:15.

Number 16 - Drunkenness, to get drunk or to be intemperance. Provo 20:1; Provo 23:
29,30; Gal. 5:20. Number 17 - Revellings, to be noisy, or to be riotous in feasting or overeating
1 going to special dinners and parties. I Pet. 4:3,4; Luke 21:43.
Anyone guilty of any of these 17 works of the flesh shall not inherit the kingdom
of God, much less be ready to meet Jesus in case they should die, I beg you all to read
and re-read Gal. 5:19, 20, 21; for they that do such things shall not inherit the kingdom
of God, I told you before, and so tell I you again .
